Dear friends and family,
i haven't updated our blog for awhile but as usual we've been very busy traipsing around the countryside with our colourful stall at music festivals, doing what we love most, being on the road surrounded by fun, music and good friends.

we have also been working our week day jobs ( myself at two disability companies and giovanni at the fern nursery), saving hard to hopefully head off travelling at the end of june, all going well.we have also been totally enjoying living in our gorgeous little house and having a place for friends and family to visit and drink endless cups of tea. we love the garden. it's so peaceful, our own little oasis to chill out in as you can see in the photos. we've even put up hammocks for the ultimate relaxation!

it's been a bit rainy lately and with the days being shorter i've been enjoying the many hot baths in our sweet bathroom! to tell you the truth i love every room in our new little house!! and i still look forward to getting home every day just to walk in to our home sweet home!! we've decorated it just to our taste and we love having space for a creative room for when i finally get time to be creative?! and a music room for all of giovanni's worldly instruments!

the summer has passed in a rush of festivals and roadtrips from northern nsw to most south eastern tip of victoria and everywhere in between. i'm not studying this year, but my course i'll resume next february.i'm enjoying having more head space and time for reading, reflection and walks! i'm absolutely loving living near my dear sisters rach, em and bec! we all live so close by and many impromptu visits are made, resulting in cups of tea and catch ups! i haven't been so connected to my sisters and living close by since we all lived at home so i'm soaking up every minute of it!!

we have also loved being part of an african dance and drum group and making beautiful local kindred spirits with whom we play music, explore local waterholes and have dinner parties!we're loving living in hazelbrook, the move to the mid mountains has offered so many new tracks and trails in the bush to discover. including the beautiful cave and waterfall near our house and the bliss pools on the top!
we've already enjoyed holding the second part of giovanni's 31st birthday party down there by candellight with 25 friends, music and tiramisu!

well my dears,
i send you all my autumnal wishes of love and peace.
i hope you enjoy the photos!!

love and light
jess and giovanni
