arrival in india

hello everyone!!


just to let you we finally arrived in culcutta india after a very long trip. we left hazelbrook at 6am on thursday and just got here about 6 hours ago. but all is well! we are very happy to be here and we've just eaten delicious palak paneer and naan, rice and had a street chai. we wandered around the crazy streets dodging the chaos!!and now we're ready for a very early night. by the way it's extremely hot and muggy!!!

i'm feeling shattered from such a long journey and such a mad rush to get everything done at the house before leaving!!we only got two hours sleep the night before we left so i'm glad we had the long trip to catch up on sleep, but travel is always tiring and the guest house room with the fan and a cold shower is calling. so thanks to all for your help in the last minute of leaving and we're really sorry we didn't get to ring or visit everyone before leaving. we were racing til the last minute to prepare for leaving. a big job now with the house and the paperwork that goes along with that!

we love you all and will be in touch very soon. just wanted to let you all know we've arrived safe nd sound!
